Taste Test

We would like to thank Tracye from Rich’s for spending the morning at Caroline High School demonstrating a recipe using their new dough product. The students were given the opportunity to try out the product and they  raved about how good the strudel samples tasted.

School Lunch Hero Day

On Friday, May 5, 2017, we will celebrate the 5th Annual School Lunch Hero Day! School Lunch Hero Day is a chance to showcase the difference school nutrition professionals make for every child who comes through the cafeteria.

Our Nutrition Services Department  donated  a set of Lunch Lady books by Jarrett J. Krosoczkato to each elementary school in the district.  This book series portrays school nutrition employees acting as superheroes. Krosoczkato’s project, School Lunch Hero Day, reveals how cafeteria staff provide more than just food, and illustrates how powerful a heartfelt thank you can be.

Our elementary school Cafeteria managers presented the Lunch Lady book set to the school Librarians.
