Bowling Green Primary School had a huge turnout for Bring Your Parent To Lunch Day. Nearly 200 parents, grandparents and community members came together on October 17 to celebrate National School Lunch Week and see the many healthy changes being implemented to meet the tough new Federal regulations.
This event was organized by the cafeteria manager, Rachel Farmer and her staff. Thank you to Jason Mack, principal, for his support and cooperation.
Reporters from The Free Lance Star and Caroline Progress were in attendance, and a representative of School Nutrition Association also interviewed Mrs. Farmer about this event.
School Meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families.
